UTMSPACE held Welcoming Ceremony  & New Student Registration for  Universiti Teknologi Malaysia  Part Time Students on February 13, 2016 at Dewan Sultan Iskandar, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Skudai, Johor.

The number of candidates that were offered to further their study at UTMSPACE is 650 people. As many as 127 students were offered the Bachelor of Civil Engineering program which has centres in Kuala Lumpur and Alor Setar, Kedah. Apart from that, approximately 100 students were offered Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering program.

The registration went smoothly and all present were eager to begin their UTMSPACE Part-time Bachelor Program  for February intake, session 2015/16. Prospective students from across Malaysia came to the UTM campus in Johor for the registration. 24of the  students are  from the  UTMSPACE  Part Time Diploma program and are continuing their  Bachelor program at UTMSPACE.

The ceremony began as early as 8am and the students had to go through all the counters provided to ease the registration process. UTMSPACE souvenirs were given to every student as a token of appreciation. UTMSPACE also provided enquiry service counters for those that needed further information. Additionally, UTMSPACE provided a display and promotion counter, UTM souvenirs counter and UTM Traffic counter where students can get their student vehicle stickers.

At 11am, the ceremony was officiated by the Dean of UTMSPACE, The Honorable Prof. Dr. Mohd Fua’ad bin Hj. Rahmat. He welcomed the newly registered students. He also congratulated the students as they are successfully chosen to further their studies at UTMSPACE

“No matter what economic situation or reality,, no matter what  economic model or policy, the recipe of success is always the same” stated the HOnorable Prof. Dr. Mohd Fua’ad bin Hj. Rahmat. Later, the students took an oath  led by Mr. Mohd Syujairi bin Hashim. He is a former student of  UTMSPACE Bachelor program. The students were then divided according to their courses and were send to their respective faculties to attend a briefing.

Pendaftaran Mahasiswa Baharu, Pengajian Separuh Masa

UTMSPACE       telah       mengadakan       Majlis       Aluan       &       Pendaftaran       Mahasiswa     Baharu,    Pengajian       Separuh     Masa,     Universiti     Teknologi     Malaysia     pada     13     Februari     2016    bertempat    di    Dewan    Sultan    Iskandar,    Universiti    Teknologi    Malaysia,    Skudai,    Johor.

Jumlah   calon   yang   berjaya     ditawarkan   untuk   menyambung   pengajian   di   UTMSPACE    adalah     seramai   650   orang.   Seramai   127   orang   mahasiswa     telah   ditawarkan   dalam    program     Ijazah   Sarjana     Muda     Kejuruteraan   Awam   yang   berpusat     di   Kuala     Lumpur    dan     Alor   Setar,   Kedah.   Selain   daripada     itu,   lebih   kurang   100   orang   mahasiswa     telah    ditawarkan    dalam    jurusan    Ijazah    Sarjana    Muda    Kejuruteraan    Mekanikal.

Suasana     pendaftaran   berjalan   lancar   dan         semua     yang   hadir   bersemangat     untuk    memulakan     pengajian   Program   Sarjana     Muda    Separuh   Masa     UTMSPACE   bagi   sesi    pengambilan     Februari   2015/16.   Calon-­‐calon     mahasiswa     daripada     seluruh   Malaysia    telah     datang   ke   UTM     kampus   Johor   untuk   majlis   pendaftaran   kali   ini.   Terdapat     24    orang         mahasiswa     daripada     program       Diploma     Separuh       Masa     UTMSPACE       yang    menyambung    program    Sarjana    Muda    di    UTMSPACE.

Majlis   bermula     seawal   jam   8   pagi   dan   Mahasiswa     perlu   melalui   setiap   kaunter   yang    disediakan               untuk             memudahkan      proses             pendaftaran.             Cenderahati             percuma        UTMSPACE     telah   diberikan   kepada     setiap   mahasiswa     sebagai   tanda     penghargaan    dan       terima     kasih.     Pihak     UTMSPACE     juga     telah     menyediakan     kaunter     pertanyaan    kepada     yang   ingin   bertanya     lebih   lanjut.   Turut     serta     adalah   kaunter   pameran   dan    promosi     UTMSPACE,   kaunter   cenderahati   UTM     dan   juga     kaunter   trafik   UTM     bagi    mendapatkan    stiker    kenderaan    mahasiswa.

Pada    jam    11    pagi,    aktiviti    diteruskan    dengan    majlis    perasmian    oleh    Dekan    UTMSPACE    iaitu    Ybhg.    Prof.    Dr.    Mohd    Fua’ad    bin    Hj.    Rahmat.    Beliau    mengucapkan    selamat    datang    kepada    semua    mahasiswa    baru    yang    mendaftar.    Beliau    turut    mengucapkan    tahniah    dan    syabas    kepada    mahasiswa    yang    telah    berjaya    dipilih    untuk    melanjutkan    pengajian    di    UTMSPACE.

“Biar  apa    pun    realiti    dan    suasana    ekonomi    ,    biar    apa    pun    bentuk    model    dan    dasar    ekonomi,  resepi    kejayaan    adalah    sama”,    ujar    Ybhg.    Prof.    Dr.    Mohd    Fua’ad    bin    Hj.    Rahmat.  Seterusnya,    ikrar    pelajar    telah    diketuai    oleh    Encik    Mohd    Syujairi    bin    Hashim.    Beliau    merupakan    mantan    pelajar    UTMSPACE    bagi    program    Sarjana    Muda    sebelum    ini.    Mahasiswa    diagihkan    kepada    jurusan    yang    diambil    dan    dihantar    ke    setiap    fakulti    masing-­‐masing    bagi    mengikuti    taklimat    yang    disediakan.
