UTMSPACE first ever “Intercultural Night” was held recently at Dewan Sultan Iskandar, UTM Skudai Johor Bahru on 5 October 2019. The ceremony was graced by UTM Vice Chancellor Yang Berbahagia Professor Datuk Ir. Dr. Wahid Bin Omar accompanied by Managing Director of UTMSPACE, Professor Dr. Azlan bin Abd. Rahman and other UTMSPACE top management personnel.

The lively evening participated of 430 students from Foundation Programmes, Undergradutae Programmes inclusive of Diploma, International Degree Programme, Bachelor of General Studies and Bachelor of Business Administration.

It was a combined event of local and international culture featuring one night performances representing a mixture of diverse cultures. Student performances were fantastic and many excelled on stage.

The social gathering also previewed an array of food presentation of participants’ nations and cultures around the world. The commitment of those behind the scenes was exceptional and the audience reaction to the night was outstanding.

For all students involved, the smiles that can be seen on everybody’s faces, the cheering up from the audience pumped up a lot of energy and enthusiasm in the performances. The evening ended with prize- giving ceremony and group photo session.
