Student and Alumni 2024 Synergy Program, Student Entrepreneurship Program organized by UTMSPACE was held yesterday at UTMSPACE Kuala Lumpur. This program was officiated by the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director UTMSPACE / Dean SPACE UTM, YBrs. Prof. Ts. Dr. Nazri bin Ali. In conjunction with this program, the Student Entrepreneurship Funding program was launched, allocating financial assistance up to RM 3,000.00 for students. On that day, two Full-Time Diploma students, Muhammad Izwan bin Arudee, Diploma in Accounting, and Hoi Pui Yee, Diploma in Computer Science respectively received the allocation of RM 2,000.00 and RM 3,000.00.

During the launch ceremony, Prof. Ts. Dr. Nazri Ali emphasized that UTMSPACE supports any student entrepreneurial activity by providing entrepreneurial funding assistance. In addition, two UTM Alumni, Sr. Amy Ellyza binti Ghani, Managing Director of IGS Network (M) Sdn. Bhd. and Mr. Muhammad Shahrizan bin Abdul Malik, Director of HSC Engineering Sdn. Bhd., were also present at the event, where they had a discourse with the students on striking a balance between academics and the field of entrepreneurship. Among other activities is a lucky draw for the students present. A total of 20 students received lucky draw prizes worth RM 40.00 and one student won the Grand Prize worth RM 200.00

The event was also attended by Ts. Nik Maria binti Nik Mahamood, UTMSPACE Senior Director/Deputy Dean (Development) SPACE UTM, Associate Prof. Dr. Abdul Rashid bin Husain, Director of UTM X-Cite, Mrs. Suhaili binti Mazlan Huzairi, Senior Manager of Student and Alumni Affairs Division of SPACE UTM, the lecturers, and Heads of Department of UTMSPACE Kuala Lumpur.
