Today, the Centre for Instructor and Advanced Skill Training (CIAST) conducted a benchmarking visit to UTMSPACE at Block T05, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. The visit aimed to foster collaboration and provide deeper insights into UTMSPACE’s Advanced Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ATVET) programmes.

The CIAST delegation was led by Ts. Dr. Aruna binti Ismail @ Abd Wahab, Deputy Director (Planning and Development), along with other top leaders from the organization. They were welcomed by Professor Dr. Nazri bin Ali, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of UTMSPACE, and Professor Dr. Mohd Shahrizal bin Sunar, Dean of School of Continuing & Professional Education, who led the UTMSPACE team.

During the session, both sides explored potential areas of collaboration, exchanged best practices, and engaged in insightful discussions aimed at advancing the development of ATVET programmes in Malaysia.

The visit underscores the shared commitment between UTMSPACE and CIAST in advancing technical and vocational education through innovation, strategic planning, and institutional synergy.
