UTMSPACE recently hosted a friendly sports tournament with Media Prima Berhad on 12 December 2017 at Elite Bowl, Residensi UTM Kuala Lumpur. The tournament was held in appreciation of the media’s support and close cooperation over the past years.

The engagement received approximately 60 participants for  bowling and table tennis from Media Prima Berhad   representing TV3, 8TV, NT7, Hot FM, KOOL FM, Berita Harian, Harian Metro  and NSTP.  A joint roll off by Director of Registry & Corporate Office, Dr. Sofian bin Ibrahim and Regional Manager (Transnational Education Division), Ashraf bin Zainal Mokhtar commenced the fun filled evening amidst a very competitive joyous setting. As such, UTMSPACE is set to host annual sports tournament to thank the media for their coverage and reports on UTMSPACE and hoped the good relationship would continue.

Also present at the tournament were TV3 newscasters; Nasharudin Tajudin, Raymond Goh and Kamarudin Mape who gave away the prizes. Winners took home trophies and attractive prizes including prizes for best pinfall, best team and best squad for doubles. The media members were later feted to high-tea refreshments and a lucky draw session. See you again next year!
