Kuala Lumpur, 6 July 2025 —UTMSPACE had the honour of hosting a dinner reception with UTM Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Mohd Shafry bin Mohd Rahim welcoming senior officials from the Ministry of Public Administration (MOPA), Bangladesh. Also present at the event were Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Ir. Mohammed Noor Bin Abu Hassan, Board Of Directors, University Technology Malaysia, Professor Ts. Dr. Intan Zaurah binti Mat Darus, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International), Associate Professor Dr. Abd Rashid bin Husain, Associate Vice-Chancellor (Strategy & Global Eminence), Professor Dr. Nazri bin Ali, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of UTMSPACE,  Professor Dr. Mohd Shahrizal bin Sunar, Dean SPACE, UTM and UTMSPACE Management team.

The event marked a highlight of the Senior Staff Course (SSC), held from 30 June to 9 July 2025, in Kuala Lumpur. This programme, distinguished by its international scope, is highly appreciated by the university. It is specifically designed to support the capacity development of government officials from Bangladesh’s public administration sector. This reflects UTM’s ongoing commitment to strengthening global cooperation and advancing academic excellence across diverse governance and institutional frameworks. Appreciation also goes to the lecturers, trainers, the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN), the National AI Office (NAIO), the Institute for Medical Research (IMR) and to all who have contributed to the success of this programme.
